Dr. Joe Rothenberg
Dr Joe Rothenberg came to Dryden in 1975 upon “retiring” from his internal medicine practice in White Plains, NY. He and Dr Ferger knew each other through Dr Rothenberg’s family in Ithaca (to be near his family was a prime reason he relocated here with his wife Esther). Dr Rothenberg worked part time in his retirement - a retirement which lasted for another 19 years - until 1994! - at which time he did fully retire. The relationship was a long and happy one and was such for his patients as well. He was a caring, thoughtful physician and a valued colleague.
